I am the 2.5% . Every time I buy basic suspension parts, floors, etc., I am taking advantage of the common man who bought a Mustang or Falcon - and I'm okay with that. My car might as well not exist, but I have a common DNA to loot and loot well. Steering bits, A/C kits, floors, gas tank, and even more...

If I were staying stock-ish, that is. Engines, trans options, axles... You name it, I can make it work.

My Ranchero is part of 3.5% (std. Ranchero 12,218) of US Falcon production in '63. Rancheros overall are 5% of the 2.27 million 60-65 Falcons, and lumping in the ~2.26 million 64 1/2-70 Mustangs, I'm at a tiny part of the original number. Lump in the 71-73 and it's even tinier. Particularly compared to a '71-'73 Stang because hueglol.

If my car were all alone in the world, it would be impossible to find parts for, but it isn't. In short, thanks, Mustang bros! I am the pickup owner who is growing fat off your wealth. Whenever I end up crashing a car show with this thing might be a good time to overthrow me for the proletariat or something. Be careful, though, I'm covered in rust.

I had a lot of practice on five classic Land Rover firewalls and two chassis. Those things rust through like nobody's business if you let them, aluminum body notwithstanding.

Replace parts with carbon fiber bits that you autoclave yourself. No more rust.

You're not supposed to use plywood.

A lot of English vehicles have a bad reputation for rust dont they?

My Capri might be put on the back burner for a while, I got what was supposed to be the donor car for it on Monday, and I don't want to chop it up. Its too nice.
